Home Energy Audits- The two biggest costs each month for homeowners are Mortgage and Energy costs. Varton Heating & Cooling has the knowledge and equipment to perform a thorough energy audit of your home to determine where you can reduce the money you are spending each month to heat or cool your home. Our energy audit services include a thorough inspection of your home building envelope to determine sources of wasted energy and a complete report that will help identify areas of potential improvement that will provide the greatest energy savings for the least amount of money. There are programs currently available from DTE Energy to help offset all or part of the costs of these audits. Call US today to learn more about these services and Energy Rebates available from Utility providers.
InfraRed Thermography Services- InfraRed Thermography is a non destructive, non invasive inspection technique that can be used to inspect electrical, mechanical and building systems and structures to identify areas of potential maintenance concern. Building envelope inspections can be used to determine areas of high heat loss, failed insulation, moisture damage and water infiltration not see by the human eye. Detection and early maintenance of these building issues can help to reduce repair costs, improve health and safety as well as reduce energy costs. These service are available in combination with the Home Energy Audits (see above) or as separate service billed by project or hourly rate.
